Anti-Defecation League demands Rutgers to fight “anti-Semitism” on campus

A Rutgers University student who found a swastika taped to the ceiling of her campus apartment said she is upset with how her school has handled the situation, although the university maintains it responded appropriately.

Sara Rosen, of Edison, described feeling afraid when she returned to her apartment one evening in January and saw the symbol in blue taped on the ceiling of a common area. She called 911 and university police, and later suspected her roommates may have been involved.

According to Rosen’s account on Facebook, a roommate admitted to the act, though he claimed that it was a Buddhist symbol that resembles a swastika, which she dismissed as false, noting they had recently argued and he knew she was Jewish.
